The Disney Portal is happy to introduce a weekly ranking of the Top 20 Disney Sites. We use an advanced algorithm that combines Google PageRank, Alexa traffic, and user feedback into an overall score.
In terms of new sites to check out, this week we'd like to highlight SearchDisney.com, a Disney search engine that appears to do a decent job blocking out commercialism in its search results. Not perfect due to occasional strange results, but perhaps the best Disney search out there.

Last week we highlighted Tim Devine's photography site TheMagicInPixels which has moved up 39 spots in the ranking to #87.
Finally, in response to multiple postings on various Disney sites, we are now introducing a separate ranking scheme where we combined paired sites like Disboards/WDWInfo, MiceAge/MiceChat and others into paired listings. To check out the impact of combining these sites, see our "Combined" Listings.
Beginning October 1, 2006, Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be hosting the "Year of a Million Dreams". This program involves a million prizes that will be given away to guests at these two resorts, including spending a night in Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World. Some Disneyland guests will win a night in the Mickey Mouse Penthouse at the Disneyland Hotel.
